Building Faithful Futures

Support the Building Faithful Futures campaign

Our initial goal for Building Faithful Futures campaign is $165,000, which covers the initial amount that Trustees have committed to this project. But, because we know that this is a generous church, we have also set a STRETCH GOAL of $193,000, which would cover the construction costs.

We understand that such giving is a prayerful decision, and we appreciate any support you can offer.  As 2 Corinthians 9:8 teaches us, it is through our own God-provided blessings that we may abundantly bless others for the glory of God.

Major improvements of our second-floor Sunday School, nursery, and middle/high school rooms are underway. The trustees and the Youth & Children Ministries Committee have been working together for months to develop plans for this important renovation project, which is aimed at transforming these learning areas into even more welcoming and enriching environments for our youngest members.

Alb Construction Co. began work on Monday, Aug. 5 and expects the project to take about 90 days. YCM hopes that children will be able to use the new space by mid-November.

The four Sunday School rooms on the second floor and the workroom area outside Emily Bianchi’s office will be the focus of the renovation, which will begin with a complete tear-out of the space. The middle school and high school rooms at the west end of the building and the nursery near the sanctuary will receive new paint, wallpaper, furniture, lighting, and new cabinetry.

Most of the second floor will be closed for the duration, including the Wesley Room which will not be available for any meetings until the project is concluded. Contact Kristyn Walker if you need assistance finding an appropriate location for your meetings/studies.

Here are some of the updates and enhancements you can look forward to:

New Flooring: Fresh, durable flooring that enhances safety and comfort.

Ceilings and Lighting: Improved ceilings and upgraded lighting for a brighter and more inviting atmosphere.

Organization and Cabinets: Enhanced storage solutions and organized spaces to better serve our activities and materials.

Furniture and Toys: New, age-appropriate furniture and toys to facilitate learning and play.

Play Space: Expanded and redesigned play areas for active engagement and creativity.

Supplies: Updated supplies to support our curriculum and activities.

These renovations are designed not only to enhance the physical space but also to create an environment where our children can grow in faith, learn, and have fun in a safe and nurturing setting.

During this time, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience with any temporary inconveniences that may arise. We are confident that these improvements will have a lasting positive impact on our children and families for years to come.
