On Sunday, we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first service for Grosse Pointe Methodist Church (later to become Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church) in September 1945 at Kerby Elementary School. Part of Sunday’s celebration will include a new anthem by Joseph Martin commissioned in honor Cleopatra Greenwell, who served as GPUMC’s choir director for many years and died in 2021.

Our in-person worship service in the sanctuary and the livestream begins at 9:30 am Sunday.

You are always welcome at this church!
